Film I storyboarded “Nick in Time” accepted at Sundance, Tribeca, Queens International…
A year and a half ago, I was hired by Writer/Director Be Garrett to storyboard his film, Nick in Time. The reason I was approached about the job was because he had seen the storyboards I had done for Williamsburg with Frameforge3D Studio, a revolutionary story-boarding software designed by Innoventive Software LLC in Sandiego, California, and was impressed.

Anyway, we went to work, hashed them out, they looked great, Barry Markowitz (cinematographer Sling Blade, Apostle, All the Pretty Horses) shot it, and now it has been accepted to Sundance 2007, Tribecca 2007, and Queens International Film Festival 2007.
Props to Writer/Director Be Garrett for his success and hard work.

Wayne Porter, Bill Gates, and Brad Saville
For those of you who don’t know Wayne Porter, he is a friend of mine and fellow West-Virginian. He is a prominent researcher on e-commerce, security, and virtual culture. He is a frequent public speaker on diverse topics including e-commerce fraud, spyware, blogging (and its death), and community development. He received, in 2006-2007, and 2007-2008, the Microsoft Security MVP designation. In addition, he was named by Google on their responsible security disclosure micro-site for work in security among a host of other honors.
Wayne also helped finance, and served as creative consultant for the film, Nothing So Strange, which won the New York Times Claiborne Pell Award for Original Vision.
Nothing So Strange is also one of the few open-source films that have gained such notierity. The film is mockumentray about the assasination of Bill Gates, Summer 2001. After September 11th, however, distributors were hesitant to release a film about such a touchy subject.
I am happy to announce that Wayne has asked me to colloborate on the open source aspects of Nothing So Strange and shoot additional footage, making it into something extraordinary and intriguing and original. Thanks for the opportunity, Wayne. I promise not to disappoint.
